Medical Assistance Program (MAP)

Medical Assistance Program (MAP), located at SJGH, offers health care coverage for services at San Joaquin County facilities for those who meet the eligibility requirements, which include being a legal resident of San Joaquin County, gross income of less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level, and who do not have eligibility or access to other coverage such as Medi-Cal, private health Insurance, or Workers’ Compensation. This program fulfills the County Mandate under Welfare and Institutions Code 17000.
